Situated on 435 picturesque acres overlooking York, this historic

bed and breakfast also offers self-contained cottages. Hillside offers relaxation and tranquillity in a friendly, yet completely private setting.

Surrounded by wonderful farmland, guests enjoy the serenity amid gardens which abound with bird life.

Built of rammed earth, each of our five ensuite rooms is individually furnished with antique furniture and memorabilia. Each room also has its own entrance and undercover parking area. The Stables is our newest enuite with spa and private kitchen.

All our cottages have delux amenties and provide a warm homely atmosphere.

Every room and cottage has a separate sitting area with television, DVD, CD and in house DVDs.

There are wood fires in addition to reverse-cycle airconditioning and/ or evaporative cooling.

Beds are mostly queen or king-size and twin beds are also available.

Each room has hot beverage facilities and fresh milk. A bar 'fridge is provided for our guests convenience.

A sumptuous cooked breakfast or an optional continental breakfast is served in our adjacent Tea House for guests choosing the bed and breakfast option.
