It is suited to those who demand more character, charm and seclusion than found at a nearby motel.

Liptrap Loft is built on 5 acres surrounded by farmland. The house overlooks green paddocks; sheep, cattle or horses lazily graze 30 metres from the house. Half the block is covered with native bushland, acting as a haven for bird life. Echidnas, wallabies, koalas, wombats are often seen strolling through the grounds.

There are stunning beaches nearby, including the famous “Magic Beach” at Walkerville and great secluded beaches if you want to get back to nature.

The house was built by an owner/builder/designer who was so inspired from building Liptrap Loft he went back to university to study architecture. Evidence of his care and creativity can be found in everything from incorporating materials he found on the beach to hand-crafted dish racks and cupboard doors. Recycled windows line the walls of the main room giving the feeling that you are right in nature, and the combination of timber finishes and solid beams creates an unusual comfort.
