Cleburne is a new art hotel offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Heritage-listed sandstone farm buildings beside the River Derwent, just fifteen minutes from Hobart GPO and Salamanca and five minutes from the Moorilla Museum of Old and New Art.

Our previous accommodation venue, Edinburgh Gallery Bed and Breakfast, was well reviewed in the travel press, including Channel Nine's Getaway and Author's Choice in the 2004 Tasmanian Lonely Planet.

At Cleburne we have continued the eclectic blend of furnishings; bold, modern art and luxury contrasted with raw 1820's stone and timber. Delicious breakfasts are served in the grand dining room or on the Homestead verandah.

The authentic Barn, Cottage and Homestead cluster round a tree-sheltered courtyard on four acres of grounds where geese stroll and alpacas graze.

We acknowledge Tasmanian Aborigines as the traditional owners of the land on which these buildings stand and honour the Mumirimina people who were killed at the Risdon Cove massacre in May 1804.
