Property Details

There are 2 fully self-contained mudbrick cottages, on our 100 acre property called Rock Lily. All cottages are dog friendly, meaning dogs are welcome inside, plus there is a fully fenced yard with a kennel beside the cottage. We have a mowed walking track down the property for guests who may take their dogs on walkies without a lead. We have a border collie, a rough collies and maltese terriers. A council booklet in each cottage lists leash free areas in the shire.

The cottages are very private, separately located and each has spectacular mountain and valley views. Linen and Towels are optional. There is (usually) canoeing, swimming and fishing available at the Brogo Dam.

Deserted white sandy beaches are located 45 minutes to the east and many are dog friendly. The region abounds in National Parks, Wilderness areas and State Forests. Whale watching season is September/October. All cottages have cosy log fires. We do not have spa's, or baths, we have showers as we are on tank rainwater.

There are 2 horses on our 100 acre property which wander free range and visit the cottages. The closest town is Bega for groceries.

We are located on the Far South Coast of NSW about 6 hours driving time from Sydney, 3 hours from Canberra or 7 hours from Melbourne.

We also handle bookings for a small timber cabin, called Woodruff Cabin (that we used to own) - on behalf of its new owners. It is located on a separate 16 acre property,bed linen & towels are optional, provides blankets. It has a fully fenced deck but NOT a fully fenced dog yard. Dogs are allowed inside the cabin.
