Walk out the back on to nearly 30 m2 of raised timber deck equipped with outdoor setting and BBQ, then gaze across the pool and fully fenced yard to farmland where more often than not cattle can be seen grazing or resting under distant trees. A spray of palms provide shade to the pool by day while at night spotlights highlight the pool and entice you in for that refreshing evening swim. The two large bedrooms could have been combined from 4 rooms in an earlier life and for your invited guests that stay a night; the main bedroom includes 2 chairs that fold out to single beds. A 2-3 minute drive or 15-20 minute walk away is the Kingscliff retail strip along the beachfront. A mix of the old and modern buildings include the local artists shop, clothing labels, banks, real estate offices to the local takeaway. When eating out, make your choice from the local pub, surf and sporting clubs and a variety of restaurants. Behind the retail strip is a shopping centre anchored by Woolworths and including specialty shops such as newsagent chemist, bakery etc. Beach fishing is often successful and the local creek inlet on the southern end of the shops has a boat ramp as well as being a delightful place to swim - especially on the high tide.
