When eating out, make your choice from the local pub, surf and sporting clubs and a variety of restaurants. Behind the retail strip is a shopping centre anchored by Woolworths and including specialty shops such as newsagent chemist, bakery etc. Beach fishing is often successful and the local creek inlet on the southern end of the shops has a boat ramp as well as being a delightful place to swim - especially on the high tide.
